HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Kai Thamo Boeckmann, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Margaret Nardi, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the depth of strategic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America and noted the importance of expanding joint coordination and cooperation across various fields.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also highlighted the growing ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany, emphasising the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister underscored the importance of further enhancing joint international cooperation in light of the exceptional circumstances presented by the global spread of COVID19, to continue to support global efforts aimed at eradicating the virus.

In this regard, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the mutually beneficial cooperation shared between Bahrain, USA and Germany in combatting COVID-19 and facilitating the provision of vaccines within the Kingdom, which will contribute to safeguarding the health of all.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to review regional and international issues of common interest.
