Public Security Chief chairs RAP academic council meeting

Manama: Chief of Public Security Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan has chaired a virtual meeting of the Academic Scientific Council of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP). RAP Commander and the council members attended.

He expressed thanks and appreciation to Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his ongoing support to the council and directives to develop training and scientific programmes to meet increasing security challenges.

The programmes aim to make police personnel deal with all challenges while carrying their duties.
The meeting discussed topics on the agenda, including RAP academic plan 2020-2021 and the courses of the 12th batch of cadets.

Lt-Gen. Al Hassan hailed the dedication of the council to utilise modern technology, education and training expertise. He thanked the council members and RAP faculty and administration teams and wished the best to all.
