Puducherry Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy assures welfare of returning NRIs of Puducherry and Mahe.

Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy held an online conference with representatives of Overseas Indian Congress from Puducherry and Tamil Nadu to discuss the issues of expatriates during the Covid-19 crisis.

Indian overseas Congress Middle East convener Mansoor Palloor requested the chief minister to provide necessary support to the returning NRIs from Puducherry so that they can start their own ventures. He also requested to set up NRI Cell to address the issues and provide necessary support. The Puducherry chief minister assured that he will consider the requests of the Mahe Natives and NRIs as part of Puducherry Government itself.
Mr.V.Narayanaswamy Clarified that he will make sure that interest-free loans will be provided for those peoples who are interested in small-scale ventures. Member of Parliament Thirunavukkarasar, Indian Overseas Congress Convener Mr.Mansoor Palloor, Professional Congress Tamil Nadu State President Mr. Mohan Kumaramangalam, IOC Secretary Mr.Virendar Vashit ,Mr.Zulfikar Gadiali ,Mr. Firdous Basha were also joined the webinar and shared their thoughts.
